is it just me, or were the emmys really great this year? i was genuinely entertained, which is more than i can say for year's past. from the opening number to genre montages... the show had me laughing the whole way through! but let's talk fashion. * * * my picks for best dressed included a wide range of styles, beginning with a navy j. mendel gown from modern family star julie bowen. the cut, color and detailing were stunning - although, i wasn't such a fan of her messy half-updo. the office's jenna fischer wowed in this brilliant red versace number. honestly ...

oookay. i tuned into this trailer of black swan, expecting to get an inside peek into the world of competitive ballet.
